I threw it on the floor and now it works. Apple tried to charge me $300 to fix it
First, you aren’t speaking to Apple here, and we are rather an Apple user to user technical support forum. Second, if Apple told you repair is necessary and a cost for it, then there’s your solution. I would not recommend you throw your iPhone on the floor and it working now is likely a coincidence. But I am sure that sooner or later it will stop working again because of that and you will be paying even more.
