I just bought a Roland RD -88EX, is somebody using Logic Pro 11 on RD 88EX? I feel that the piano sound deference compare to I play piano alone , sound better then plug with on logic ? but if I play native instrument piano VST is ok, one thing if play RD-88ex original song feel bad ? any setting need to set ? as RD 88ex supported Usb audio/Midi, I'm a beginner , need somebody to help, Thank You !

I am having trouble understanding your question. Sounds from the Digital Piano are going to sound different than the Logic Pro stock sounds. I would not say better but "different". I also use a Roland (another model). I simply bring down the volume of the Roland so I can use the Midi Functions and trigger sounds from Logic Pro.
If you would prefer to record the sounds/audio from the Roland, you are going to have to connect via 1/4 inch instrument cables to an interface. Use an audio track in Logic Pro and set the correct input to record the Roland.

let me update my hardware & connection info to you as below :
My system :
1.MacBook Air 2024 15" connect RD-88EX have internal audio interface as this model support audio/Midi ( Chord USB Cable )
2.Roland RD-88EX - 1/4 TRS -RCA Cable to my Rotel Preamp- Rotel. PowerAmp- Focal Speaker ( Not a monitor Speaker )
I have try to us native instrument Piano VST like, THE GRANDEUR, THE MAVERICK play by RD the the sound quite ok, when I play Roland Supernatural Piano at Logic is audio track ( Not midi channel ) the outcome deference to if I play alone without computer, I don't why, maybe have a wrong setting, as I know I show a lot of YouTuber they play RD with computer the sound is really Great, now I in my office, later I go back will try to snap a photo to your more clear on setting, or maybe we need to adjust the REVERB , CHORUS/DELAY, COMPRESSOR , when we play on Logic for RD original Piano Sound, other the Piano all the sound like string is well play.
Do you know can we assign RD to have a simple control like transport, just to control Play, Stop, if u know how to assign for list Please help share with me,
I Love Logic & RD-88EX too, wish can have a good communication with in Logic & RD.
