What happened with a basic level of Command L or Apple L when you were using iTunes and you needed to go straight to the track that you are playing and it would go to Songs, list view? Now when I hit Cmd L or Apple L, I go directly to the Album view or list view of an Album rather than the entire List view.

What I am seeing here (Music 1.5.2.xx) is that CMD-L goes to the playlist from which the play was launched (which is not necessarily the full Songs library) and uses the view for which that playlist is set. In my case, I have the Songs library and almost all playlists set for View > As Songs, and CMD-L therefore stays in Songs view and goes to the specific song. Are you seeing differently?
