Account recovery issues with new iPhone and forgotten password

Last week my phone crashed, I had to get a temporary android until mine came, I knew all my passwords, security questions but I couldn't get the verification text, and finally got my number ported in. Now I got my new iPhone and it says my password is wrong, my phone number is not supported and I answered ALL verifications and still put me in account recovery. Now what good is it actually if you know all the security questions, still can't get in your account. Or what is the point of having to change your password so much you don't remember it, then it tells you that you can't use the previous password (it just said it was wrong) if you still have to go through all this??

If somebody wants to hack my email to get my Dollar General coupons, more power to them, but I need to get in the too!!

No matter what you remember you will always have to do account recovery if you get a new device!!!

On my iPhone 13 it was, however T-Mobile gave me a hard time about porting my number so I couldn't get my verification texts for about a week. When I got my 16 iPhone yesterday I was prepared, my trusted device with a recovery phone number, scanned the QR code, I answered ALL the security questions right, had password, passcode and PIN right, then it asked for my verification code sent to my recovery email and after I logged it in a screen popped up said I need to reset my password and I was in account recovery. So there's no way around it!!!

It has my number and it is not sending any code to my trusted contacts, and I kept checking yesterday how much longer and waiting for the 8 hours to be up, and when I finally got the email it said it would be unlocked MARCH 5!!! Really?

I set up a new one!!
