Trouble updating my 2017 iMac from Ventura 13.7.2 to 13.7.4

I have talked with tech support and they gave me steps to restart in safe mode and then the steps to reinstall the macOS to the newest or current one. However, restart in safe mode was tried and the tech said that due to the model it is considered classic and might not work. Has anyone with the 2017 iMac been able to update past Ventura 13.7.2?
