How do I assure that my iPhone is not compromised?

a unknown number sent me a pdf file in a message i didnt realise and opened it. im worried my phone will get hacked what should i do??

Can viewing a pdf document via text message from an unknown phone number contain a virus? Simply clicked on a pdf attachment from a random phone number on accident. Immediately noticed upon opening that it looked like a scam asking me to make a toll payment. Didn’t click on anything else, just wasn’t sure if viewing the pdf might have compromised my iPhone?

An iPhone can't be hacked from opening a PDF. Delete it and block whoever sent the message to you.
