prepare Mac for trade in now it won't start
followed the steps to erase the files etc and now the computer doesn't start and when i start in recovery it says it can not install the Mac OS.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.7
When you say "won't start", do you mean you get the folder icon with a blinking '?' in it to indicate that there is no OS ?
