Battery Cycle Count on MacBook Air

I have recently purchased a MacBook air M2, it is 2 weeks old now and my cycle count is 7 now. Is it good or not?

Any tips how to minimize battery cycle count? what should I do I am being paranoid using my macbook since I dont want my battery cycle count to go up that fast lol.

Does it mean that 100% down to 70% is a one cycle count? because i noticed that when I checked my cycle count is increasing when it reached 70%.

Please answer since it is my first time using macbook

Leave it plugged in whenever convenient to do so. Plug it in at 100% or any other percentage and just leave it plugged in until you need to move it to another location then plug it in at the new location. Use it on battery when no power plug is available.

okay thank u so much! last question, from 100% to 70%, is that considered as a 1 cycle count? because i noticed that i fully charged my macbook and then when it reaches 77%, then when i checked the cycle count it increases huhu

Here is an explanation of how cycle counts are calculated:

Ignore the Battery Cycle Count....it is meaningless unless it is nearing 1,000 cycles.

In fact, just ignore the Maximum Capacity value as well since people don't understand how these Apple Lithium batteries behave since the Maximum Capacity value was only recently introduced a few years ago.

Just use the laptop until the battery is no longer performing to your expectations. Then and only then, check the Battery Condition to see if the condition is shown as "Service Recommended". If so, then it means it is time to have the battery replaced. Otherwise you can even ignore the "Service Recommended" condition because why would you want to replace a battery that is not giving you any problems?
