I want to recycle some of my old gadgets including old iphones. I found my Iphone XR but cannot remember the screen passcode. How can I unlock it to save my personal files and reset it?
Unfortunately it is no longer connected to my apple account so I can't rely on back-ups either.
Is there a way of hacking into it using my Apple account?

If you forgot the passcode, there isn't much you can do to recover the phone short of erasing it. You will only recover the hardware and the software and files will be wiped.

Nope. Anything on it that wasn’t backed up or synced to a cloud service is gone. There is no way into it to recover the data.
