GarageBand for iOS folder not installed to iCloud Drive after installing GarageBand.
I have GarageBand installed on my iPhone 11 Pro, my iPad Pro M4 and my Mac running Monterey - all software is up to date (iOS 18.3.1 on iPhone; iPadOS 18.3.1 & macOS 12.7.6). I have 2 TB of iCloud space and both iOS devices are being backed up to iCloud. I have also turned on Save to iCloud in my Apple Account iCloud settings for GarageBand. In General > iPad Storage GarageBand is allowed storage. When I access iCloud Drive from within GarageBand I no longer find the GarageBand for iOS folder - on the iPad nor the iPhone. Also, when I navigate in GarageBand I no longer see MySongs browser. GarageBand says that it is synced to iCloud but songs and projects on my iPhone are not accessible on my iPad. I have manually saved my songs/projects to iCloud Drive and then deleted GarageBand and reinstalled it but still the GarageBand for iOS folder is not found on iCloud Drive after installing. I only find the GarageBand for iOS folder in the On My iPad or On My iPhone section of the Garqageband browser. Everywhere I’ve searched tells me that folder is supposed to be there. Apple won’t allow the folder to be copied and my songs/projects are supposed to be in that folder I thought. If that folder doesn’t exist on iCloud Drive where are my GarageBand files being saved to and how can I verify that they are being backed up at all. I have also tried logging out of my Apple Account and logging back in on my iPad. Do I need to log out of my account on all of my devices and then log back in to reconnect to iCloud - could that help?
