Apple Passwords: Unable to enter long website address in Login page.

I have been using the new Apple Passwords app and, unlike some, I prefer it to other password managers, most of which I have tried.

However I have one significant problem when trying to enter a new Website address that has characters extending beyond the country code. ie: www.website.co.uk/xxxxxxxx

It automatically reverts to www.website.co.uk but I need to use the full format to enter a dedicated editing page. Has anyone experienced this and overcome it?

Thanks,

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.3

Hello Ventoux1,

I see the same behavior on my end: anything after the "/" is discarded.

If you need to access different passwords for site "/xxxxxx" and site "/yyyyyy", you could create a password entry for each that is not using the website address proper.

For instance, you could create a "fake" password entry named "website.co.uk xxxxxx" and another named "website.co.uk yyyyyy". Safari would not autofill those passwords but when prompted for a password, you could choose "Other Passwords...", search for "website.co.uk" (or just "website" as it would not be a generic name) and choose either password "xxxxxx" or "yyyyyy".
