Drainage and itching when using AirPods Pro

Got my new AirPods Pro for Christmas and since then my ears have gone itchy every time I wear them causing weird discharge. Went online and found out that more people have it!

Had AirPods before and no alergicreactin but what happened to these ones? They do also have a more chemically smell of rubber
