How to activate hearing aid on airpods pro

Air pods connected to iPad with iOS 18.3.1. Pods are up to date. Have taken the hearing test but cannot activate hearing assistance under hearing health in settings. I am in the UK.

AirPods Pro 2 - no "Hearing Assistance" option On December 24th, I purchased AirPods Pro 2. As a person with hearing impairment, I bought them because of the hearing aid features. Unfortunately, I am unable to configure them. When I go to the AirPods Pro 2 settings, I do not see the "Hearing Assistance" option, either on my iPhone or my iPad. I have performed 3 hearing tests, which are saved in the Health app, but I cannot use them with my AirPods.

Else, seems iOS 18.4 is available in beta now, prior to it's release before long.
