Best MacOS Native VPN for M4 Mac Mini

I would like to use My M1 chipped Mac Mini as a Server for Our SOHO team…. However We think that it’s only proper to run all these activities via a robust VPN ~

Q) is there such a thing, or;

Q) are We simply better off using the Native Mac Mini internals to establish a SOHO type Server arrangement???

Caveat:

My new M4 Mac Mini just arrived a couple of days ago and We are thinking of it as Our command and control CPU/BigBrain which runs everything ~

Setup:

RJ 45 feeds Our M1 directly;

M1 feeds M4 via the Lightning ports unless You all think it’s a better plan to use another tactic???

Our 40” Samsung will be plugged into the M4, while the 32” Vizio smart Tv and 32” HP Monitor will be plugged into the M1 ~

Our thinking is that We don’t want either of these Mac Mini’s to be visible on the web unless We come to the conclusion that it may be safe to just be out there ~
