Turning Off Scene Detection in iMovie 10.4

Hello Experts!

I am importing my old miniDV camcorder videos into iMovie; however, when they come into iMovie, they are "chopped" up. I would just like one big long scene. I can't find a way to make the import just one continuous scene. See the screenshot of my import to understand a bit more what I am referring to. Notice that there are several clips, I just want one clip!
