No text (Message) sound alerts on iPhone (after 18.3 and 18.3.1 updates)

I have an iPhone 11, non-Jailbroken phone. The issues started about a month ago when I noticed the "Illuminate" tone had been removed from the text tones and is now only available from ringtones. My phone reverted the text tone to "None" until I noticed and changed it to something else. Then the real issue started when my phone stopped playing text tones at all. My sound is on. My Focus settings look fine. I've done several hard reboots. Sound works for other notifications (like email and other apps). None of my contacts are on "Hide Alerts." In fact, sometimes I will randomly get sound notifications! But when I don't, my phone doesn't even light up to show me that someone texted me. I have to physically tap my screen, only to see there's a new text notification. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
