Why is my iPhone 16 hanging during WhatsApp use?

“raised a case with whatsapp but will they respond. I am still facing the hang issue in whatsapp. Not sure if its whatsapp issue or ios bug.”

If it’s only occurring only to WhatsApp, then it’s confined to WhatsApp.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: on when this issue began, and how you’ve troubleshot it, thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

"Iphone 16 Hang issue: Hello, I bought iPhone 16 directly from apple. it was fine for while. but now iPhone hangs when I use WhatsApp specifically during texting and scrolling in the group chat and sometime in whatspp itself. and hang issue during games. Not sure if its bug with IOS 18 or WhatsApp iOS issue itself."
