App will not show windows even though it shows the app icon.

When I open up the app, the small white icon dot appears below it, but no windows open. I have tried running first aid on the computer's storage, restarting the app, and restarting the computer.

For some reason I couldn't reply to anybody else's post so I had to post my own. I tried many different solutions for this, and none worked, except this one. The app in question was Splice; the music sampling app. What I had to do was go into finder, enter Shift+Command+G, then enter this exactly: ~/Library/Application Support/com.splice.Splice once I did this, I deleted a file under the name "com.splice.Splice" which apparently was the apps "cache". I don't even really know what a cache is, but if you can find a way to do so, delete the apps cache in finder and see if that works for you. This issue was extremely frustrating, I'm so glad I found the solution.

On a side note: the file in finder kept popping up over and over even after I dragged it into the trash time and time again, but it ended up not being an issue so I cleared the file out internally and left it tf alone.
