imovie scrolls unwished through active picture.

Need urgent help. !!!!!!!’

I own four Apple devices but none of them can offer a solution. Or, I am not able anymore to create a slideshow without the stupid scrolling of the picture in the slideshow which causes that sometimes faces vanish in the dark. I really don’t understand why that developer added this absurd and unwanted feature. As my age is 71+ combined with a health that is about to end, you’ll understand why I wanted to use my Apple.

I switched to W10 on my HP Pro laptop and although it seemed to work a bit, I still prefer IMovie but without the stupid subtitle scrolling of every inserted picture.

I’m looking for help so I might get rid of this option, hoping it actually is an option that can be shut off.
