Apple Pay defaulting to subscription only

Since the iOS 18.3.1 update my Apple Pay defaults to subscription only payments randomly, preventing online purchases being made. By shutting the phone down and restarting normal purchasing options are resumed, temporarily though! This has happed twice now.

That’s not Apple Pay, it’s your Apple Account. Apple Pay is the Tap-N-Pay you do at a transaction terminal. Two entirely different things.
