How can I unpause my exercise on Apple Watch?

It would be nice to have a reminder or notification to unpause your exercise on the Apple Watch, when it appears you have started again. Just like it does when the Apple Watch notices you started exercising but, did not start an exercise yet. Countless times I have to pause an exercise to do something, only to return exercising without unpausing the routine on the Apple Watch.
