How do I restore missing emails from junk folder?

I had one important email being sent to me in December 2024 and it was going to the junk folder, so I knew it's there. By checking junk folder today, I found all emails gone and the folder is empty. How can I restore all emails back and being visible in the junk folder? Thank you.

Also, another thread suggested the following: “you can try checking in Time Machine by having the Mail app open on the folder you wish to recover messages from, in this case the Junk folder. Then from the menu bar, click the Time Machine icon and select "Enter Time Machine".

If there are backups to recover, Time Machine should open directly into the Mail app Junk folder and you can then restore your files.

If they're not there, they would not be able to be recovered.”
