Identifying SD TV shows in Apple TV library for HD upgrade

Hello there,

I have quite a few TV shows which I purchased some time ago, when we still had the iTunes Store.

At the time, I generally purchased SD videos, but I’d now like to start moving them over to higher quality formats.

The issue is that I’m struggling to identify the SD TV shows under my library in the Apple TV app.

My movies all show a badge underneath the description, for example HD or 4K. However, my TV episodes don’t show anything.

Unfortunately, simply playing the file and judging for myself isn’t an option, due to visual impairment.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to identify the format of purchased TV shows, such that I can replace the SD ones with HD or 4K versions?

I’d prefer to do this on my iPhone, but I do have an iPad and MacBook Air if necessary.
