Info Shows Up Under Cursor

When scrolling through a page (particularly in Safari), a grey box appears under or near the cursor. Sometimes the info inside the box duplicates a link nearby, at other times it has some other information in it. It is annoying in that it covers up the text under it. What is this, and how do I turn it off?
