I have left my AirPods in the flight and I am able to see the AirPods on my finding app, I am able to see the location and have reported to police , they said the chances are slim what is the point having finding app from Apple?
The point is helping you locate them.
(Did I leave them at home, or the office, or at the gym, … or on the plane)
Recovering them is a task — as-always — “on you.”
Contact the Airline … most generally have fairly well-developed “Lost & Found” processes.
