Apple Journal App issues after update iOS 18.3.1

My journal app keeps having issues every time I put in the written time, and going from am or pm down to my following medications, it jumps to the end of the notes, or formatting turns the last hour into bullet points, aka format mode. When I turn it off, it goes to format mode to normal, it erases the number. When I do that again, it locks the closely spaces text to the medication name or notes to the pm and am and I cannot space it. The journal is needed for medication journaling, which my primary told me to do, so that way I keep records of what I took, when I took it, and this was helpful for my doctor to treat my care. Also when I go back and start editing the same "page" on that same date for more information it happens again and the previous ones do that and wash out the previous marked hours records with the current on I had just did as I do that same remove or turn off the forced automatic format mode. Is there a way to remove format mode from the app so I can continue to utilize the app?

I think after resetting the keyboard setting, it became a little bit more possible to use just dumb, that it has to be badly done, that a work around has to be implemented by me. And believe I've gone through every setting on keyboards and other settings like notifications and suggested journaling tips. I have repeatedly deleted and re-downloaded from the app to try fixing issues, and it's all the same problem. I have carefully reviewed the patches and understand that a punctuation mark period may be the cause. Hence, for trying to work around these issues is thus.

Try recording your times with the number for the hour, and try to mark hours consistently only for the hour, but if it's minutes or something, place it together with ( : )and then only put no space in between the ending of the hours (I.E. 8:30pm) then continue to take notes, medications etc after the marked hours. At the end of the paragraph/sentences, do not put the ( . ) at any time as it will force automate the bullet points to the original number.

You may also spell out the entire words for hour and minutes instead of using numbers, as the journal may have issues while they try to fix this.

That's all I can think of. Let's hope they give us a hotfix. I have sent feedback, and I am sure plenty of others are doing the same over this update.
