Name cards in Apple Wallet & Archive

Hi, I was expecting for so ling that one could :

  • nickname cards - especially credit cards - in Wallet, because some looke very similar and I have always a hard time to distingush private from business cards i.e. Now Google Pay has deployed this function, Apple still hasn’t
  • I’d like to keep some cards, like concert tickets, for nostalgia. Sounds useless? It is. Still, having the possibility to archive cards, instead of just deleting them, would be a nice add to Wallet.

Thanks!

Tickets are controlled by the issuer and if they add an expiration date, the ticket is removed. Some issuers permit the Wallet to keep the cards and hide them from view. Expired hidden tickets can be viewed at any time and do not clutter up the Wallet. Enable hiding at the path below,

iPhone > Settings > scroll down > Apps > Wallet > Hide Expired Passes

Apple Wallet is more secure than Google Wallet and currently does not permit user interaction with the software. The artwork in the Wallet is provided by the bank. Banks could enable users adding nicknames during the card provisioning process.
