Is there a good way to view Markdown (*.md) files in quickview?

On my Mac, when I click on a .md file and hit space, it pops up a QuickView version of the file, but it's just a raw text file. I want QuickView to interpret the markdown commands and show me what the document is supposed to look like.

I have a pretty good Markdown editor, called One Markdown, which is now my default .md viewer, but QuickView doesn't use it. Is there a way to do this, or maybe a better editor?

I have an iMac running Sequoia 15.3.1

I've tried QLMarkDown, but it didn't work for me. However, you made me realize I need to explicitly look for extensions in the App store. So I searched for QuickLook Markdown, and found an extension called Markdown Preview. I installed it and it works perfectly.

After installing it, I had to go to System Settings… and choose General -> Logon Items & Extensions and scroll down to Extensions. There, I clicked on the ⓘ next to Quick Look, where I could enable the Markdown Preview extension.

So thank's for your reply.

FWIW, how Quicklook displays a file depends on the Quicklook extensions that are installed.

If your application does not install such an extension, Quicklook can only display as text.

But there are other extensions that you can install. One of them is QLMarkDown. I have not tested it, but it is available from github for free or you can pay the developer a coffee.
