For some reason when I try to download something through a website, it processes the entire file then freezes. I’ve left it overnight and it still hasn’t downloaded before. Restarting my phone doesn’t fix it.

See that “?”. There is an error connecting to the server. The complete file size cannot be determined. So, disable a VPN, and try this once more.
While I appreciate the response I don’t have a VPN. I found a solution, however.
Pressing X to cancel then the retry button downloads it like normal. A bit annoying when I forget about it but will have to do.

The “X” means it was pending. So, the download stalled, while all the rest were in the download queue.
