AirPods turn off TV Sound

I join a weekly Zoom meeting by accessing an email link provided by the organization. I use my IPad to mirror the iPad to my Samsung TV. I then join the meeting by clicking on the email link. I then insert my AirPod Pro2 and listen to the meeting through the AirPods because the sound is much better. A family member also listens to the meeting on the TV. I must have inadvertently changed a setting on the AirPods because this procedure is no longer working.

Now when I insert my AirPod Pro2, the sound on the television turns off. I can listen to the meeting on my AirPods but the family member can no longer listen because the TV is muted so I have to remove my Airpods to restore the TV sound and listen to the meeting.
