Wrong emoji is showing in the vid

I have also experienced the emoji being converted to a different emoji than the one used when inputting. I would solve it like this.

--

1. Enter the blindfolded monkey 🙈 emoji in another app.

2. Take a screenshot.

3. Remove the background.

4. Place images on the timeline.

I could not reproduce the problem on my side.

Maybe run Font Book and validate your fonts. A bad font can cause all sorts of trouble.

What emoji is it exactly that you want?

Does this happen with other emojis too? It's hard to see how simple one in your text could get transformed into the very complex one (it requires 4 codepoints to create it) on the image.
