All of a sudden I was signed out of my work Microsoft email on my iPhone. When it tells me I need to sign in again, I get this message. If I hit "cancel," then I can't sign in at all. Is this legitimate, and what does it mean exactly? I need to be able to get my work email on my phone. Thank you.

Yep, just about everyone who uses Microsoft Exchange accounts had to to this today. They had a huge outage over the weekend.

I’d suggest asking this question of your work IT security group.
While this may well be the usual Microsoft chatter and fallout from the weekend outage, it could have other causes specific to your case and your work. (There are folks that intentionally cause shenanigans around the same time as other outages, too.)
