How do I permanently disable shortcut automation notifications on iPhone?

I recently got a new iPhone 16 pro max after using a Samsung my whole life, and i don’t really know my way around. how does one turn off shortcut automation notifications permanently.

For reference, the automation is for when i connect to a wifi (any), it turns off cellular data and vice versa.

You are right: for the “Wi-Fi” automation trigger, the “Notify When Run” field is not available.

It seems that the “Bluetooth” trigger has the same limitation. Most of the other triggers do have “Notify When Run”. I don’t know if it’s an oversight in Shortcuts or whether it is intended (for reasons I ignore).

You could let Apple know, though: Product Feedback - Apple.

Some text for the usual:

In general:

  • Turn that off when creating the automation, by selecting Run Immediately, and then Notifications > Off
  • Shortcuts > Automations > select the automation > Notify When Run > Off
  • Remove the notification statement from within the particular shortcut

It may well be that communications network triggers always get notifications, though. This looks deliberate.
