No Haptics for notifications on Apple Watch Series 9

i have recently paired my watch with a new IPhone 16 pro max and the haptics do not work for any notifications on my watch apart from exercise notifications such was friends or my own rings completing.

i have tried all the haptics settings, tried changing settings on iPhone and restarts and repairing etc.

it used to work on my older iPhone 12 Pro Max, even when all haptics were off on my phone, haptics for notifications on my Apple Watch still worked, it’s only since pairing with my new IPhone 16 pro max nothing is working, I still receive notifications but not being notified with vibration like usual. Any help please?
