iPhone automatic App Updates not working

There's 2023 and all of 2024 who have complained about this in a different thread with the exact same title.

How has Apple drop the ball so much and so badly with this topic? My updates are turned on everything is fine with my phone and yet it has been years since I have been able to have my apps update manually.

WTH?! This is ridiculous that in 2025 Apple has gone backwards from having automated updates on people's phones to now I have to manually try and find it and then manually update every single app???

I'm starting to question my choice of choosing Apple. If you can't figure that out why are you charging me so much for a phone???

Because most of us pay way more money to have an iPhone so that things are SIMPLE. Apple if you cannot figure out how to automatically update our apps do I get my money back? because this has been a few years now. And I'm tired of it.

every time I have an issue with an app on my phone, inevitably the company tells me to go and find their app in the App Store and update it myself.

Yeah! I end up with weeks or months of issues with apps I lose so much time! Not that Apple cares! They got my money already. According to them they don't need to do anything for us anymore. They figure once we buy it we won't stop.

Thanks Apple! Don't think people won't switch. You're not that special.
