How to scan books on an iPhone?
I’m trying to digitize some of my books into PDFs. I tried taking photos with my phone and converting them to PDF, but it’s way too tedious. Is there a faster way to do this?

Just open Files, tap the three dots in the top right, and select Scan Documents. Your scans are saved directly as a PDF. Apple has a guide for this: How to scan documents on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

You can cut your scanning time in half with a scanning app that has a book scan mode, so you can scan two pages with one tap. I’ve been using PDFgear Scan lately, and it works pretty well. You might find it useful!
I never knew that! Thank you very much. I just tried it, and it’s pretty convenient. But I have almost 300 pages to scan, so this is going to take forever. Hopefully, my fingers don’t cramp up halfway through.
Sounds good. I’ll check it out.
