HomePod Biggie Control Bass Level?

I LOVE the sound of my HomePod biggies, I have 4, both 1st and 2nd generation, but the bass is about 30% too loud, especially for apartments or condos. "Reduce bass" in Home app completely kills the bass. Someone has suggested EQ in macOS Music app (Window -> EQ), but EQ only works from macOS Music app in Command Center (no multi-HomePod support or playing from other sources).

Apple, we need the HomePod and Home app to support MEDIUM bass halfway between full and reduced bass. Please respond, Apple.
