One of my airpods wont connect at all.

I had accidentally left my airpods in my pockets and washed them. I found out before I placed them in the dryer and didn't attempt to use them until late the next day. They were dry and nothing was wrong with them. I used them for a whole day without problems. But this morning I was using them, and in one of my airpods, i heard a quick static sound and it disconnected. I put it in the case, and took it out and everything was fine. And then it happened again. This time the airpod didn't connect to my phone. When i go to my airpods settings it doesn't even show up. The airpod seems to have absolutely zero signal now.

Will this problem fix itself, or do I need to go get it fixed?
