Best Alternatives to TotalAV ?

When I started my TotalAV accounts (after a serious data breach and ID theft) it seemed a good deal for me. I spoke TO A PERSON and got a great deal: $39/year. But each year, worse to non-existent customer service. And the price auto-bumped up to $100+ , then $200 plus, and each time harder to reach them. They've now morphed into a model of Brutal-AI - no chat, no phone, no email link -- except finding it via an external-to-app google search. And, I was unable to cancel this round before the renewal after numerous tries. Links are HIDDEN and obfuscated under deep layers, and under 1984-bureaucrat bot-speak. There is a "Deactivate" but then also a "Cancel" but those don't really cancel your account. "Refund" is even more obscured. You have to find "Terminate" but that still didn't cancel my account. They charged me on an expired credit card - WHICH YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO DELETE. Entirely abusive business practice and, ironically, not Secure. So, any alternatives to TotalAV that do not- for one -disallow you from deleting your credit info and let you cancel at will ?
