Turn off Rotation Lock in Stand by Mode to Answer Calls on iPhone: Bug

iPhone 14 in a MagSafe stand placed horizontally in Standby Mode with the screen locked, and Autorotate Off. Incoming calls cannot be answered by tapping the green answer call button. Screen registers a tap as button shows depressed state but does not return to un-depressed state and does not answer the call. Turning off the rotation lock allows for calls to be answered in Standby Mode. Call buttons still many not respond reliably even after changing the Autorotate to On.
