Macbook Air slow down

Hello, my MacBook Air slows down without reason. Even when disconnected from Wi-Fi, it becomes unresponsive after 30 minutes. It lags when moving the cursor, typing in Excel, or opening folders actually, everything is slow. How can I resolve this issue?

I’m experiencing the same issue. I have a MacBook Pro M4 Pro with 48GB of RAM, which should be more than sufficient for running PowerPoint, Preview, and Chrome with about five tabs open. However, after using it for a while, the GUI becomes noticeably slow, despite memory pressure remaining at 6% and CPU usage at 15%. I also noticed that WindowServer in Activity Monitor shows increased CPU usage when this happens. This issue only started recently, and the only temporary solution I've found is to log out and log back in.
