How do I sync iCloud calendar items with Outlook on iPhone and PC?

I use Office 365 at work (now M365 Copilot) and I use an iPhone. I have my calendars synched, but I have a problem when my wife sends calendar invites from her IPhone. Specifically, there is no option to save the calendar item in my Office 365 account, only my iCloud Home or Work account. These calendar items will then show up on my Apple devices (iPhone & iPad), but will not synch with Outlook and don't show up on my Outlook--either on Outlook on my phone or Outlook on my PC (both web-based Outlook and the desktop Outlook app). Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Also, if I create a calendar item with my iPhone and select the iCloud work or home account. That item won't synch with Outlook either. (It does synch across apple devices.)
