iPad charger block stops working within two weeks.

Four Apple Charing Blocks have gone dead, each within two weeks of use. iPads used include 2018 iPad Pro, 2022 iPad Air, and 2025 iPad Pro. The charging blocks do not get hot, and there is no scorching or burn smell at the outlet or the charging block. Apple cords and non-Apple cords have been used. A surge suppressor outlet and 1000J surge protector have been tried.

If using original Power Adapters sourced directly from Apple, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.


Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
