How do I fix random hearing aid disconnects on iPad with Apple compatible hearing aids?
I am new to the recent Appleverse. I received my iPad for Christmas 2024. I have Phillips hearing aids designed specifically for use with Apple devices - which was a primary motivation for my purchase of the iPad. My wife has an iPad purchased for her Christmas 2023. Both are 9th gen.
When listening to content on my iPad, one or the other audio channel will randomly cut out. Both channels have yet to cut out together - just one or the other. I have tried listening with my wife’s iPad and there is no disruption of the signal. I took it to the Geek Squad at BestBuy since I purchased both iPads there. They ran all diagnostics with no failures, they wiped the device and I reinstalled everything, and the issue persists. They suggest sending it to Apple, but I am reticent to do that.
