why dosent my airpods max wont do a feirmware update

My AirPods Max model a2096

wont update since I first got them over a year ago

they are stuck on 6a300

how would I go about getting them updated as Apple claim there is no manual way of doing it

btw I use them for audio processing sensory issues so this is impotant to get this fixed yes I’m autistic I’ve just done everything possible and absolutely nothing has worked so far
