Un-sorting a table in Numbers

I've read some other discussions on this and there doesn't seem to be an "after-the-fact" fix but just in case there is I am presenting the question again.

What I am asking is if you sorted a table and either closed and reopened a document or are too far deep into it to just fix it easily by simply "undoing".

I feel like there should be a sorting option right along with Sort Ascending and Descending called "Original". I get that if a lot of editing has been done then there might not be an "original" left to sort. But it could be more like a saved point that the app can revert to. Maybe to the first "save". Maybe there already is an option for that I am unaware of?

Before anyone responds with make a numbered column, to be clear, I am talking about after we are already beyond that being an option. However that is good advice I will try to remember to make a standard part of my table making in the future.
