im not recieving emails afte deleting the reinstalling my email

I was having problems moving emails to trash to delete messages. I tried turning my phone off and on several times to see if that would resolve the issue but it didn’t. Then I googled it and it said to delete my email and reinstall it which I did but now I’m not receiving any emails
