Help! Ex Able to see deleted calls

My ex and I share custody of our son. She has been able to take my IPhone 13 Pro Max and look up my deleted calls. How is this possible? How can I stop it from happening again, other than safe guarding my phone much better? Thank you in advance.

Your calls are all logged on your carrier’s website, where they can be viewed in the carrier’s user portal (and can’t be deleted), so she might not be using your iPhone at all. But why does she have access to your iPhone? If it is needed to manage parental controls, the only option I can think of is to get a different phone for personal use, and just use the other phone for the parental controls.

Are you both using the same Apple ID? If so, then she has access to all of your calls, text messages, voice mails, e-mail accounts, photos, passwords.... everything. Physical access to your iPhone is not required to access this information.

If you are using separate Apple IDs, then the answer is simple. Do not give her physical access to your iPhone and keep its passcode private.
