Iphone 13 Pro Max black screen

After trying all the Apple suggestions I took it to Apple store. They said no water damage, no user damage but I needed an exchange at ~ $650.

Took to another shop and they said the primary power line is shorted inside. Fixed $150.

I see hundreds of these issues listed in support. Maybe Apple should admit to a mfg. issue.

black screen on iphone 12 I dropped my phone, which was in a protective case, in water for a mere second. I dried the phone off, and it was working ok. I tried later to charge it but got a warning to wait so I did. The next morning, my phone was fine, no issues. This happened several weeks ago and I've still had no issues....until yesterday. I went to bed saturday night with the phone plugged up beside me. I had been using just before I went to sleep. The next morning it had a black screen and has not been recovered since. I took it to my local ATT store where they tried a hard reset, with no luck. I'm just wondering if the water had a delayed reaction and caused a problem weeks later.

iPhone 13 screen turned black hours after water exposure even though it still works My phone unfortunately got submerged in water today. I checked on what to do on Apple Support and the phone appeared to dry internally in four or five hours and I was able to charge it. The screen was normal and I was able to make calls and do everything normally. Four or five hours after that, the screen has gone black. You can still call it, text it, etc., but I can't answer it, call out, etc. because the screen is completely blank/black. Any ideas?
