iPhone 14 Pro Max battery draining fast after iOS 18 update: Thank you. also do you know any way to save battery life for a day (charging your phone once a day)?

You are welcome.

You need to optimize the charge (IOW: get the best out of the battery that you can). Go Here: About Optimized Battery Charging on your iPhone - Apple Support

More to go by…

View the Battery Health:

Apple recommends you get a new battery, once the Battery Health reaches 80% or lower. When the Battery Health is 80% or lower, it is time for a new battery.

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Tap: Battery
  3. Tap: Battery Health
  4. View: [the percentage]
  5. Is it 80% or less?  If so, it is time for a new battery.

Troubleshooting Power Draining After iOS18 Update:

You're not the first to have reported this on these forums. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported it to Apple?"

A. Reverting the Update:

Unfortunately, the iOS cannot be downgraded to a lower version. So, you only option, when it comes to restoring from an iPhone backup, is to restore from on that is of the same iOS version.

B. Report this to Apple...

Draining iPhone batteries is a well-known issue of this update Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported this to Apple?"

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
